Care

Before first use, wash in warm soapy water and dry. Heat on medium for a minute, add a little oil or butter, then cook. Let it cool before washing. Dishwasher-safe; hand washing keeps it looking new longer.

The pans in your cabinet

Every pan has a catch. This one doesn't.

Coated pans last as long as their coating. Uncoated ones are heavy or sticky. Kitchi is neither.

Kitchi Titanium SeriesNo coating

Kitchi Titanium Series

A titanium honeycomb cooking surface with nothing on top: PTFE-free, PFAS-free, nothing to flake into your food. Metal utensils, the oven and the dishwasher are all fine.

Coated nonstickFlakes

Coated nonstick

Scratches within a year or two and starts to peel. Keep metal utensils far away.

Granite & stoneStill a coating

Granite & stone

Sounds like stone, but it's a coating too. It chips at the rim and peels wherever it scratches.

CeramicWears thin

Ceramic

A thin coating. Where it cracks, the aluminum underneath shows through and food starts to stick.

Cast ironHeavy · rusts

Cast iron

Hard to lift one-handed. Leave it wet and it rusts; it needs regular seasoning.

Stainless steelSticks

Stainless steel

No coating, but eggs grab the bottom. It wants plenty of oil and a good scrub.

FAQ

Is it really PTFE-free and PFAS-free?

Yes. There's no PTFE (Teflon-type) coating on the cooking surface, and no PFAS is used.

Can I use metal utensils?

Yes. Metal spatulas, whisks and tongs are fine. The honeycomb protects the surface.

Does it work on induction?

Yes, plus gas, electric and ceramic. It's oven-safe too.

Is it dishwasher-safe?

Yes. Hand washing keeps the finish looking new longer, but the dishwasher won't hurt it.
